Position Overview:

DripJobs is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented QA Specialist to join our fully remote team. In this role, you’ll ensure the delivery of top-notch software that helps contractors automate and streamline their businesses. Your efforts will directly impact our reputation for delivering reliable and high-quality SaaS solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance Testing
    • Conduct manual testing to identify bugs, inconsistencies, and user experience issues.
    • Collaborate on automated testing to streamline repetitive processes.
    • Test new features, integrations, and updates before release.
  • Building Best Practices
    • Develop and document QA best practices for consistent and efficient testing.
    • Partner with Product, Development, and Customer Support teams to embed quality into every phase of development.
  • System Improvements
    • Identify gaps in QA workflows and recommend enhancements.
    • Implement tools to improve test case management, tracking, and reporting.
  • Bug Tracking and Reporting
    • Log actionable bug reports using internal tracking systems.
    • Work with developers to ensure timely fixes and verify resolutions.
  • Collaboration
    • Participate in sprint planning and provide input on feature testability.
    • Align testing efforts with code changes and project requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a QA Specialist/Engineer in a SaaS or similar environment.
  • Proficiency in manual testing and knowledge of software testing methodologies.
  • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestComplete).
  • Familiarity with QA tracking tools like Jira or TestRail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proactive mindset and passion for maintaining high-quality systems.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger).
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines in QA workflows.
