The Role

We are on the lookout for an experienced Social Media Manager to enhance awareness, drive growth, and bolster the cultural relevance of the zkSync brand. In this role, you will be tasked with crafting, executing, and refining a top-tier social media strategy that connects with zkSync’s diverse community, including developers, brands, institutions, and crypto enthusiasts.

Your daily responsibilities will involve creating and managing content across various social platforms such as Twitter/X, Lens Protocol, LinkedIn, and others. You will work closely with the Social Media and Community Lead to implement a strategic social media content plan encompassing partner marketing, ecosystem projects, announcements, product marketing, memes, and educational materials tailored to our current and potential developers.

What You’ll Be Doing

Conceptualize, develop, and launch engaging content across multiple platforms.
Create and execute a premier social media strategy for zkSync.
Utilize social media channels to foster community engagement, reinforce culture, and build brand lore.
Establish and oversee emerging content channels to attract new audiences.
Analyze social media data and use insights to continually optimize strategies.
Collaborate with designers to produce compelling static and dynamic visuals.
Continuously seek ways to enhance our social media impact.
Work cross-functionally to amplify and curate news related to our ecosystem.

What We’re Looking For

At least 3 years of social media marketing experience, including a minimum of 1 year in web3.
Proven success in managing social media for high-growth organizations.
Strong writing and editing skills, particularly for short-form content; experience with other content types is a plus.
Expertise in channel strategy, content creation, and message prioritization.
Ability to leverage data for ongoing refinement and optimization of efforts.
Deep understanding and passion for crypto culture and trends.
Familiarity with social publishing and analytics tools.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
Experience working with both technical and creative teams.
Proactive, self-starting attitude with a strong drive for action.
Effective communication and collaboration skills under pressure.
A well-developed portfolio of memes.
