Who We’re Looking For

We seek a Remote Math Teacher to instruct Pre-K to Kindergarten students. You will teach foundational math concepts using Think Academy’s curriculum, engaging young learners with interactive lessons and problem-solving techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver remote math lessons for lower elementary students.
  • Manage an online classroom of up to 18 students.
  • Prepare and conduct lessons following Think Academy’s structured curriculum.
  • Grade assignments and provide timely feedback.
  • Communicate effectively with students and parents.
  • Work 20-30 hours per week, primarily on weekends or weekday afternoons/evenings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or in progress); STEM or Education majors preferred.
  • Teaching experience is a plus but not required.
  • Experience with elementary math competitions is a bonus.
  • Availability for training in November and teaching at least two semesters starting Spring 2025.
  • Passion for teaching and working with young children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation

  • Teaching Fee: $33/hour (3-7 classes per week).
  • Non-Teaching Fee: $16-20/hour (class prep, grading, and parent communication).
  • Student Retention Bonus: 15% of total teaching fees for long-term classes.
