About the Role

As the Manager of IT Engineering, you will guide, coach, and mentor your team members. This leadership role focuses on developing individuals and fostering self-directed teams within an Agile organization, aligning with our corporate vision and strategy.

What You Will Do

• Establish missions and purposes for team members, providing regular career counseling and personal development support.
• Evaluate performance using team feedback, offering guidance and corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain a balanced mindset across the disciplines involved in product delivery.
• Collaborate with team members on improvement initiatives and understand the relevant data, team dynamics, and workflows.
• Set clear expectations for accountability, autonomy, and empowerment while managing boundaries to achieve self-direction. Ensure each team member takes ownership of product quality.
• Provide leadership based on the Agile Manifesto principles in all interactions.
• Attract, develop, and retain talented individuals, making personnel changes when necessary.
• Understand, teach, and sponsor IT Engineering skills essential for high-quality code, components, systems, and solutions. Support team members in problem identification, root cause analysis, and decision-making.
• Stay engaged with the team to add value while allowing them the autonomy to solve problems independently. Address issues that team members cannot resolve.
• Participate in Portfolio-level events, including Portfolio Reviews, Overall Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Overall Retrospectives.
• Ensure adherence to standards and best practices.

What You Will Need

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and work experience.
• Typically 5+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Salary Range: $82,918.25 – $153,136.92

This salary range represents the target compensation for new hires in this role. Individual pay will depend on various factors, including experience, qualifications, skills, and location. Your recruiter can provide specific salary details during the hiring process. Ranges may change in the future. This role is also eligible for an annual performance-based incentive.
