Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
a. Design and execute robust social media strategies aligned with KDNPlus’s brand identity, growth objectives, and audience demographics.
b. Develop content calendars highlighting Nollywood trends, African culture, and entertainment news to keep the audience engaged.
c. Create, curate, and manage original, engaging content (posts, stories, reels, and live sessions) for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, and YouTube.
d. Collaborate with creative and editorial teams to maintain a cohesive brand voice and aesthetic.
e. Engage authentically with the audience by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries.
f. Build partnerships with influencers, celebrities, and cultural icons to amplify brand reach.
g. Track and analyze key performance metrics (e.g., engagement rate, follower growth, conversions) to optimize campaigns.
h. Stay updated on industry trends, platform algorithm changes, and best practices to keep strategies competitive.
Requirements:
a. 1–2 years of experience managing social media for established brands, ideally in entertainment, media, or cultural industries.
b. Expertise in major social platforms and a track record of successful multi-channel campaigns.
c. Strong strategic planning skills, with the ability to align social efforts with overarching brand objectives.
d. Exceptional storytelling skills and a talent for creating compelling visuals, videos, and written content.
e. Proficiency with analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Sprout Social) and experience using data to refine strategies.
f. Familiarity with Nollywood, African entertainment, or global cultural content is a plus.
g. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
