About the Role

As a Senior Product Designer, you will lead the design of innovative mobile and web products that redefine user experience. From initial concepts to app store launches, your work will create tangible, positive impacts for families.

In this highly collaborative role, you’ll work closely with product, research, design, and engineering teams to bring ideas to life. Your designs will reflect Huckleberry’s reputation for delivering simple, delightful, and intuitive interfaces that families love.

This fully remote position welcomes global applicants but requires reasonable working overlap with Pacific Time. Reporting to the Head of Product Design, this 6-month contract involves 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full design lifecycle of features, from concept to launch.
  • Partner with user researchers to identify user needs and pain points.
  • Design elegant, simple, and delightful solutions that captivate users.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align on product vision and execution.
  • Conduct prototyping and usability testing to refine designs.
  • Maintain and enhance the design system.
  • Create mockups for A/B testing experiments.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of product design experience.
  • Exceptional visual design skills with a track record of clean, modern aesthetics.
  • Strong proficiency in design systems and tools like Figma.
  • A compelling portfolio showcasing user-focused designs and UI expertise.
  • Experience in creating and refining flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals.
  • Understanding of human-computer interaction principles and their impact on design.
  • Proven ability to independently own and drive the product design cycle.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in HCI, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Experience with user research and mobile or consumer-facing web products.
