About the Role:

As a company using technology to create financial inclusion, we place great importance on IT audits. This fully remote internship will help you develop both IT and Audit skills, applicable to your future career. Working with an experienced auditor, you will contribute to various IT audits, adding value and improving Pathward’s operations. Collaboration, communication, and teamwork will be crucial in this role.

What You Will Do:

• Assist in performing assigned audit testing.
• Document your work, issues, and observations clearly using both oral and written communication.
• Provide data for reports and assist with audit research.
• Engage in challenging projects that build core IT and audit skills.
• Attend department meetings and trainings.
• Deliver a presentation to senior management at the internship’s conclusion.
• Accurately track and report hours worked on projects.
• May assist in building Data Analytics and automation capabilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need:

• Junior or higher academic standing with a GPA of 3.5 or above.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Technology, Cybersecurity, Audit, or a Business-related field.
• Pursuing a graduate degree in Data Science or equivalent.
• Attention to detail and a strong record of academic or other achievements.
• Basic knowledge of banking technologies (applications, operating systems, databases, cloud technologies) preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and data analytics.
• Experience with SQL, R, or Python is a plus.

Salary Information:

• Salary Range: $14.61 – $24.65 hourly.
• Individual pay will be determined by factors such as experience, skills, and location.
• Eligible for an annual performance-based incentive.
