Job Description

Accredo, a division of The Cigna Group, is seeking a Remote Customer Service Representative to manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, ensuring patients receive their medications on time.

Responsibilities

  • Professionally handle patient, physician, and advocate communications.
  • Accurately enter patient information, prescriptions, and program eligibility details.
  • Maintain complete documentation to enhance the customer service experience.
  • Explain program enrollment criteria and guidelines to callers.
  • Report allergies, adverse events, or duplicate therapy warnings.
  • Make outbound calls for issue resolution and program clarifications.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ years of experience in the medical field or pharmacy preferred.
  • Pharmacy certification or licensure is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong adaptability and attention to detail.

Remote Work Requirements

  • A cable broadband or fiber optic internet connection with at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload speed.
