Job Description
Accredo, a division of The Cigna Group, is seeking a Remote Customer Service Representative to manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, ensuring patients receive their medications on time.
Responsibilities
- Professionally handle patient, physician, and advocate communications.
- Accurately enter patient information, prescriptions, and program eligibility details.
- Maintain complete documentation to enhance the customer service experience.
- Explain program enrollment criteria and guidelines to callers.
- Report allergies, adverse events, or duplicate therapy warnings.
- Make outbound calls for issue resolution and program clarifications.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1+ years of experience in the medical field or pharmacy preferred.
- Pharmacy certification or licensure is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Strong adaptability and attention to detail.
Remote Work Requirements
- A cable broadband or fiber optic internet connection with at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload speed.
