🏡 Hybrid role—work from our Cardiff City Centre office 3 days per week. During your first 3 months, you’ll be required to attend the office 5 days a week for training.
About the Vacancy
As a Collections Officer, you’ll work directly with customers to manage financial arrears by setting up fair repayment plans while ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Your strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities will help customers resolve payment challenges effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to negotiate repayment plans.
- Assess financial situations to create tailored solutions.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, FCA, and FDCPA regulations.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve disputes professionally.
- Prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining quality service.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to support customer outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of collections experience in financial services.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage challenging customer interactions effectively.
- Experience with multiple communication platforms (email, SMS, etc.).
- Skills to handle difficult conversations while ensuring fair customer outcomes.
