Job Summary:
Global Dropoff Logistics (GDL) is seeking a Corporate Services Specialist to lead efforts in engaging and supporting African businesses in leveraging GDL’s comprehensive logistics, warehousing, and marketing services. The role involves sourcing clients, building strong relationships, and ensuring seamless execution of services to facilitate efficient export and trade operations in the USA. This remote work position is open to candidates based in identified African countries, and the specialist will be assigned a territory.

Job Description/Requirements:

Responsibilities:

Business Development:

• Identify and target African businesses that can benefit from GDL’s services.
• Conduct market research to understand the export and trade challenges African businesses face in the USA.
• Convert leads into clients and exceed KPI targets.

Client Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders in African businesses.
• Provide consultative support to help clients leverage GDL’s services.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Service Coordination and Execution:

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of services to African clients.

Marketing and Promotion:

• Represent GDL at industry events, trade shows, and conferences (remote and in-person as needed).
• Develop strategies to promote GDL’s offerings and attract new business.

Reporting and Analysis:

• Prepare reports on market trends, client feedback, and service performance.
• Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or related field (MBA is a plus).
• 1 year of experience in business development, sales, or logistics, preferably within an international context.
• Understanding of the African business landscape and export processes is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and driving business growth.
• Occasional national and international travel may be required.
• Strategic thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
• Cultural sensitivity and understanding of African and USA business practices.
