Overview
The Quality Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring that systems and software meet quality standards and business requirements. This position collaborates with IT teams to identify system issues, develop test plans, execute test cases, and report defects. The role supports both internal and external customers in alignment with strategic business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test cases and scripts based on business and system requirements.
- Lead the documentation and maintenance of testing strategies, best practices, and procedures.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, UX Designers, Developers, and fellow Quality Analysts.
- Identify, track, and resolve software defects.
- Conduct various testing methods, including regression, performance, smoke, and stress testing.
- Document and communicate test results to IT teams and business stakeholders.
- Contribute to the successful implementation, validation, and adoption of technology solutions.
Skills & Abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of quality assurance policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively while problem-solving efficiently.
- Strong accountability and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
- Experience in an Agile development environment (preferred).
- Familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium) (preferred).
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence (preferred).
