What You’ll Do

As a Customer Support Specialist, you’ll be the first point of contact for inbound queries, assisting customers and escalating issues to subject matter experts (SMEs) when necessary. Your role is crucial in ensuring a smooth customer journey by providing timely and effective support.

Who You Are

You are task-oriented, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You take ownership of the support queue, aim for one-touch resolution, and deliver empathetic, high-quality customer service.

Your Role

  • Provide first-level support via email and chat within the Central Standard Time zone (9-5 CST).
  • Independently resolve first-level issues and escalate complex queries to SMEs.
  • Triage customer inquiries, differentiating between those solvable with documentation and those requiring further investigation.
  • Recognize and escalate urgent issues to support leadership.
  • Document customer interactions in the ticketing system.
  • Adhere to SLAs, ensuring prompt responses with clear and professional communication.
  • Follow security and data protection practices.
  • Update and document processes as needed.

Your Experience

  • Delivered tasks and projects in collaboration with senior team members.
  • Applied standard practices to analyze and resolve customer issues.
  • Built stable working relationships within teams.
  • Handled customer objections with professionalism.
  • Used discretion and available resources to solve problems of limited complexity.
  • Provided customer support via chat, email, or phone.
  • Strong written communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Demonstrated empathy, patience, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in or closely with an HR team is a plus.
