Job Overview
We are an established commercial insurance brokerage, currently seeking articulate, organized, and enthusiastic individuals to join our remote team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will provide administrative support to our Customer Service Team in a remote work setting. This role offers opportunities to grow through educational programs and on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Electronically attach documents
• Review and verify accuracy in policy rating, typing, and coverage
• Document and resolve discrepancies in policy documents
• Prepare written correspondence
• Process endorsement requests
• Update client account information, including billing screens and applications
• Manage activities using a diary system for timely follow-up
• Process invoices and cancellation notices
• Prepare and process Certificates of Insurance and auto ID cards
• Handle MVR requests
• Maintain organized and up-to-date electronic account files
• Service accounts to prevent E&O exposures
• Maintain proactive communication with service team members
• Participate in projects and accept delegated tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued Property & Casualty Insurance license
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize and manage workflow efficiently
• Proficient in English communication (written and oral)
• Basic accounting skills, including working with fractions, pro-rata, and percentages
• Ability to solve practical problems and manage concrete variables
• Computer proficiency with Windows systems, Microsoft Office, and general office equipment
• Typing speed of 45-50 wpm
• Ability to maintain professional relationships with co-workers, carriers, vendors, and other business contacts
• Strong work ethic and professionalism

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial insurance experience
• Property & Casualty License
