What This Job Offers You
Join Remote’s growing Data Team, consisting of over 15 data experts across 10+ countries. As a Senior Data Analyst focusing on Product Analytics, you’ll play a crucial role in driving product decisions and enhancing user experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams using modern tools like Snowflake, dbt, SQL, and Python to impact Remote’s growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define analytics requirements and prioritize data initiatives
- Define and implement a product metrics framework to monitor and report on key product lines
- Educate and enable product teams to self-serve insights using event taxonomies and best practices
- Analyze large datasets to derive actionable insights on user behavior, product usage, and performance
- Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor and drive product metrics
- Work with data engineers to build out data models and metrics
- Mentor junior analysts, sharing best practices and fostering a learning culture
What You Bring
- Experience working closely with product teams to deliver actionable insights
- Expertise in event tracking tools like Rudderstack or Segment, and visualization tools like Mixpanel or Amplitude
- Strong knowledge of product metric frameworks and KPI measurement
- Proficiency in SQL and dbt (Python is a plus)
- Excellent communication skills, including documentation for both business and technical audiences
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills
- A collaborative and empathetic nature
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Experience working remotely is a plus
Compensation Philosophy
At Remote, we ensure fair and unbiased compensation globally, avoiding cheap-labor practices. The salary for this position ranges from $35,850 to $107,000 USD, based on location, skills, experience, and market demands.
