Responsibilities:

• Develop, validate, and deploy ML models that drive decision-making.
• Extract and explore data to improve models, performing ad hoc analysis as needed.
• Maintain documentation of approaches, including objectives, assumptions, and model performance.
• Collaborate with engineers to validate and deploy scalable solutions.
• Partner with stakeholders across the organization to gather insights and enhance model effectiveness.
• Continue growing your expertise in data science through self-study, project exposure, and mentorship from senior team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., computer science, data science, engineering, economics, mathematics), with a Master’s/Advanced degree preferred.
• 4-6 years of experience in Data Science, including 2+ years in Finance/Fintech building consumer credit underwriting models.
• Strong knowledge of Statistics and Machine Learning Modeling, with experience in deploying models in production.
• Proficient in Python, PySpark, and SQL; knowledge of Deep Learning is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
