Job Description:
Skillerszone is looking for a highly organized and reliable Data Entry/Office Assistant to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This role involves performing essential administrative tasks such as data entry, document management, and supporting office operations. The ideal candidate will exhibit excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a remote work environment.
Responsibilities:
Data Entry & Management:
- Accurately input and update data in databases, systems, and spreadsheets.
- Review and correct data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Organize and maintain electronic files for easy retrieval.
Administrative Support:
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and handle correspondence.
- Prepare and format documents, reports, and presentations.
- Support daily operations, including managing emails, phone calls, and customer inquiries.
Document Handling:
- Process mail, packages, and faxes.
- Digitally scan, file, and store documents.
Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate administrative and operational records.
- Assist other departments with basic administrative tasks.
Communication:
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and other external stakeholders.
Other Duties:
- Handle additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in data entry, office administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a remote work setup.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of meeting deadlines independently.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with cloud-based tools (Google Workspace, Trello, Asana).
- Experience with CRM or data management systems.
