Position Overview
As a Customer Service Representative (Medicare) at OmniCare365, you will provide remote phone-based customer support, advocating for members and their healthcare needs. You’ll handle inquiries related to medical benefits, eligibility, claims, and more while delivering exceptional service in a compassionate and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Advocate for members by resolving issues, contacting providers, and following up to ensure needs are met.
- Educate members on healthcare benefits, plan details, and self-service resources.
- Assist in scheduling appointments and connecting members with specialists.
- Maintain compliance with legal and healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA.
- Use your knowledge of medical terminology and benefit plans to address member inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years in a customer service environment, with 1 year in healthcare/insurance preferred.
- Strong communication skills, empathy, and problem-solving abilities.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates preferred.
- Must have the ability to work remotely, adhering to attendance and training guidelines.
Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
