Twilio’s Segment product team is looking for a remote Sales Development Representative (German speaker) to play a key role in evaluating and executing global go-to-market strategies. About the Job

Our Global Sales team is essential in expanding our customer base and connecting Twilio with developers, businesses, non-profits, and enterprises.

As part of the team, you’ll collaborate daily, strive for excellence, and bring energy and focus to your role. We’re looking for individuals with a growth mindset who are eager to advance their careers within Segment & Twilio.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Research and generate leads to identify how Segment can deliver value, using outbound calls, personalized emails, and social selling techniques.
  • Break into new markets and companies through a multi-channel, value-based approach, fostering relationships and increasing brand awareness.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly business opportunity goals to fuel the sales pipeline.
  • Prepare activity and forecast reports, becoming proficient in Salesforce, Outreach, and Sales Navigator.
  • Collaborate with an Account Executive to create account strategies and close new business opportunities.
  • Receive all necessary training and guidance through the SDR Onboarding Program to expertly engage prospects.

  • Strong direct sales skills with a track record in strategic outreach (emails, phone calls, videos).
  • 1+ year of experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience in a software sales environment.
  • Fluent in both English and German (written and verbal).
