Your Role:
As an Associate IT QA Analyst, you will design and execute testing strategies to validate the functionality, performance, and usability of our digital solutions. Working closely with development teams, business stakeholders, and UX/UI designers, you’ll identify test requirements, develop test plans, and execute test cases across various platforms. You will play a key role in identifying defects, tracking their resolution, and ensuring our digital solutions meet the highest standards of quality and user satisfaction.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for digital solutions undergoing transformation.
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for digital solutions across various business applications.
- Support and conduct functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover hidden defects that may impact user experience and business outcomes.
- Document test results, defects, and track resolution progress in test management tools.
- Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot, reproduce, and diagnose defects.
- Collaborate with business analysts and designers to ensure digital solutions meet design specifications and user experience guidelines.
- Participate in agile ceremonies like sprint planning and daily stand-ups, contributing to testing priorities.
- Provide feedback on process improvements, automation opportunities, and QA best practices.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in digital quality assurance through continuous learning.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field; relevant certifications a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance, particularly in testing digital solutions such as web applications and e-commerce platforms.
- Ability to travel 20-30% for company onboarding, team meetings, and other business needs.
- Strong knowledge of software testing principles and experience with both manual and automated testing techniques.
- Proficiency in test management tools and bug tracking systems.
- Experience with ERP, EDI testing, Microsoft DevOps, and test automation tools is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate defects effectively.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
