What You Bring
- Post-qualification accounting experience
- Norwegian CPA
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience with core financial systems (SAP or similar preferred)
- Knowledge of GAAP compliance
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent financial analysis skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Capability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Fluent in English
- Remote work experience is a plus, but not required
Key Responsibilities
- Post transactions in SAP
- Close and reconcile sub-ledgers, including AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Bank, and Intercompany accounts
- Record and reconcile payroll for multiple countries
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and assist with variance analysis
- Ensure local statutory compliance, including VAT returns, statutory financial documents, CIT returns, and other filings in line with local legislation and deadlines
- Provide analysis and contribute to additional projects as needed
- Assist with statutory close and financial statement preparation
